The biggest difference between private and group yoga? It’s all about you. We design the entire experience around your goals, injuries, mobility, preferences, and energy levels. Want to focus on breathing and relaxation? We can do that. Need help with chronic pain or working toward a specific pose? We’re on it.

No need to keep up with a group or fit yourself into someone else’s flow. This is your time, your space, and your path.


2. Supportive, Experienced Teachers

A great private session starts with a great teacher. At Yoga Baum, our instructors have experience working one-on-one with a wide variety of students, including those managing chronic pain, anxiety, limited mobility, post-injury recovery, and more. While we don’t diagnose or treat medical conditions, we offer informed, compassionate support that honors where you are.

Many of our teachers hold certifications and training beyond yoga, from health coaching to exercise science, and all bring deep, ongoing education to the mat.


3. A Safe, Grounded Space

Our private sessions are held in beautifully muraled rooms designed to feel calm, creative, and comfortable. You’ll never feel rushed or judged, just supported. We provide props, bolsters, blankets, and a welcoming space where you can show up exactly as you are.

If something doesn’t feel right, we’ll adjust. If something feels amazing, we’ll build on it. This is a practice led with you, not at you.



4. Room for Questions, Curiosity, and Growth

A private yoga session can be about more than just movement. We often explore breathwork, meditation, alignment tips, journaling prompts, or even myth, symbolism and yogic philosophy depending on your interests. You can ask questions in the moment, pause for a deeper breakdown, or reflect on what’s coming up for you during practice.

You don’t need to know what you want in advance. Together, we’ll figure it out.
