For teachers who want more.

This interactive mentorship provides you with the feedback and support you need to refine your skills and grow into a master teacher. The program supports your growth in an authentic way that is unique to your individual style. This program is part of a true yoga school, where you will be encouraged to reflect and think critically about teaching yoga and developing your skills in the direction you desire.

Laurie LeCompte leads this program and will guide you through the process of developing your voice and style. She will help you build the confidence needed to be effective and connected to your students.

This mentorship is divided into topical courses. Each course includes a syllabus, a work plan, a work calendar, assignments, varied content, and a 3-hours of in-person meetings with Laurie. The in-person sessions are true WORKshops where you will receive kind and constructive feedback about the skills you have been honing in the course.

Each course is taken at your own pace, but it typically lasts about a month, as the content is divided into four weeks. In this month, you have ample time to complete the assignments and reflections. Because students work at different paces, the exact amount of time you will spend on the content is up to you and your learning style. You can expect to spend 7-10 hours on the course outside of the in-person meeting. Laurie will review your submissions and provide feedback and guidance before the in-person meeting dates, so that you feel truly ready to implement your refined skills. The meetings and discussions that you have with Laurie, will frame the layout of the in-person meetings so we can most effectively utilize our time together. During the course, you will have access to Laurie through, email, and phone appointments. The 3-hours of in-person meeting time is typically broken up into 2 meetings.

With each course you will receive

  • a syllabus

  • a work plan and calendar

  • weekly content for 4 weeks (will be delivered in varied formats such as videos, articles, manuals, worksheets, etc.)

Each course in this program can be taken individually as a stand-alone unit, but we encourage you to take multiple courses to get the full benefit of mentorship over a longer period of time.

You must have teaching experience to participate in this program. The courses in this program can be used as continuing education, and also count towards Yoga Baum’s 300-Hour Yoga Teacher Training.
