Booking Your Private Yoga Session

Our personalized approach begins before your first session. When you book, we’ll send you a detailed intake form to learn more about your health history, goals, lifestyle, and preferences. This information helps us design your experience and pair you with the teacher who best fits your needs, availability, and intentions.

Whether you're recovering from an injury, building strength, learning a specific pose, or simply seeking a more mindful routine, we take great care in setting you up with the right support from the start.


What Happens During Your Session

Every private yoga session at Yoga Baum is fully customized. We draw from a wide range of movement and mindfulness practices to meet you where you are. Depending on your needs and preferences, your session might include:

  • Active flow-style yoga to increase mobility and cardiovascular strength

  • Restorative or gentle yoga to encourage rest and recovery

  • Meditation and breathwork to reduce stress and improve focus

  • Resistance and strength training to support physical resilience

We also offer hands-on adjustments during sessions—if that’s something you’re open to. These supportive, consent-based assists can help you refine alignment, feel deeper connection in a pose, or safely explore new movement patterns. You’ll always be asked before any physical contact, and your comfort is our top priority.

Your teacher will take your injury history, activity level, and personal goals into account, ensuring that each session is both safe and transformative.

After the Session: Your Personalized Plan

At the end of your session, your teacher will check in with you to discuss next steps. Some clients use private yoga to work toward specific skills or therapeutic outcomes, while others see it as a regular part of their wellness routine.

You and your teacher will collaborate on a plan that fits your goals, schedule, and budget—whether that means continuing with private sessions, transitioning into group classes, or combining both.
