Cozy Comforts Retreat
January 15th-18th 2027
reCHARGE YOUR MIND, BODY, AND SOUL THROUGH THE COZIEST COMFORTS YOUR HEART COULD DESIRE.
Do you dream of a winter escape filled with books, hot beverages, comfort foods, crafts, and gentle movement? A few days to settle in, enjoy good company, and let someone else take care of the plans?
Join us for a long weekend revolving around your comfort.
This year, we’re making ourselves at home in a beautiful luxury lodge in Gatlinburg, vetted for high standards of design, amenities, and guest experience. With warm wood accents, soaring ceilings, generous gathering spaces, and comfortable bedrooms, it’s an inviting setting for our favorite kind of winter weekend.
Float in the heated indoor pool beneath its two-story waterfall, unwind in the outdoor hot tub, or curl up by the fireplace with a book and something warm to sip. Spacious decks, games, and plenty of places to settle in leave room for both togetherness and time to yourself.
We’ll fill the weekend with yoga, cozy meals, creative activities, and the easy company of friends. Come ready to get comfortable. We’ll take care of the rest.
Laurie, Megh, and Abbey have mastered the art of being cozy.
Laurie loves curling up on the couch with a spooky book and a latte. Abbey loves a movie marathon with blankets and ample snacks. Megh loves to bake yummy treats and needlepoint by the fire. With these experts as your guides you are sure to be in comfortable bliss.
Daily Activities
Spend time doing all the things that recharge your soul and bring you warmth. Based on your interests and level of coziness there will be activities to choose from, including:
daily morning and evening yoga
crafts
book club huddles
cozy movie nights
hot tub and pool time
lounging around fireplace and outdoor fire table
outing to either Sevierville, Pigeon Forge, or Gatlinburg
cozy comfort foods and meals
Important Details
The retreat will take place in Gatlinburg, TN, which is about a 5 hour drive from Louisville, KY.
Plan to arrive 5:00pm or later on Friday, January 15th, and leave before 10:00am on Monday, January 18th.
Once you sign up for the retreat, we will provide an optional reading list, complete with descriptions, categories, and previews of the activities involving the books. We will engage with these books on the retreat in some of our activities, but you do not have to read them all (or any of them) to participate in the activities.
We have collaborated with 3 local bookstores and have shopping lists at each, because supporting local is also cozy <3
All meals will be provided on-site and you can expect cozy comforts such as soups, breads, chili (vegetarian and non-vegetarian), baked oatmeal bars, cookies, strudel, pizza, and more! We will also accommodate dietary restrictions and allergies.
You will never have to leave the premises, but of course you are welcome to explore the surrounding attractions in Sevierville, Gatlinburg, and Pigeon Forge.

Your Retreat Hosts
Laurie, Abbey, and Megh met through teaching yoga and have been thick as thieves ever since. Their love of yoga brought them together, and their shared interests in reading, binge watching shows, pizza, and lounging have kept them tight. They have enjoyed a weekly comfort food and show night together for years.
On one such night, Abbey brought up the idea for this retreat and Laurie and Megh were enthusiastically on board. Once the retreat seed was planted, the ideas for activities, foods, and feel-good fun-times flourished.
This trio has worked hard to create an experience that meets the same high standards for comfort and coziness as their weekly hangouts, and they can’t wait to share this special weekend with you!
You can learn more about Laurie, Abbey, and Megh through their bios on this page.
