This workshop is for students and teachers who are seeking to deepen their knowledge and practice. This workshop can be used as continuing education, and also counts towards Yoga Baum’s 300-Hour Yoga Teacher Training.

Join Dasha Grankina for a weekend exploring the origins and philosophy of yoga. Trainees will explore, through lecture, practice, and other unique applications, ancient yogic texts and concepts, bandhas, pranayama techniques, and shatkarmas. Trainees will learn how these texts and concepts apply to different aspects of the yoga practice, including asana. Trainees will be able to apply concepts of bandhas and pranayama to students who suffer from specific ailments and students who are seeking to improve on specific postures through the incorporation and expansion of more subtle energy.

This workshop is both for teachers and students seeking to deepen their practice.
