This workshop is for students and teachers who are seeking to deepen their knowledge and practice. This workshop can be used as continuing education, and also counts towards Yoga Baum’s 300-Hour Yoga Teacher Training.

In this workshop, trainees will learn how to teach standing balance and arm balance postures powerfully and effectively to all levels. Trainees will learn how to cue, demonstrate, practice, and teach balance poses in a way that builds strength, stability, and body awareness. Trainees will be challenged to break out of routine movement patterns and to build newfound strength in balance postures. Time will be spent on muscular actions in the hips and shoulders that help to create stability and ease in balance postures.
