300-Hour Teacher Training

Curriculum and format

Yoga Baum's 300-Hour Teacher Training is for yoga teachers who have completed a 200-Hour Teacher Training and are seeking to deepen their knowledge and advance their teaching skills. The 300-Hour Training is offered in a modular format so that you can take more content that applies to your interests and you can do so on your schedule. You can start with any of the modules, at any time, and take modules at your own pace to complete the teacher training.

Training modules are workshops that are offered in the evenings and on weekends. Yogis must complete 270 Contact Hours and 30 Non-Contact Hours to receive the RYT 500 designation from Yoga Alliance. Yoga Baum offers a combination of weekend-long workshops, and day-long workshops, so that you have different options for how to complete your training. You have 5-years to complete this training, but we recommend you complete it in 2 years or less if your schedule will allow.

To meet the requirements for Yoga Alliance, it is recommended that you take 10 of the weekend-long workshops and 6 of the day-long workshops. However, there are other ways to complete the training, i.e. taking 4 of the day-long workshops is the same as 1 of the weekend-long workshops.

The workshops on Advanced Sequencing and Theming, Anatomy and Biomechanics, and Yoga Classics (there are several options for Yoga Classics) are required for the RYT 500 designation, and trainees may choose any of the other workshops throughout the year that interest them. Advanced Sequencing will be offered twice a year, Anatomy and Biomechanics will be offered once a year, and Yoga Classics will be offered twice a year.

Because this training is offered in a modular format, you pay for each module as you take it. The application fee for the training is $100, and you can apply here.
